Wednesday 29th October

Continuation of adult auditions from early evening (individual timeslots will be allocated)

** A schedule with timetables will be sent out to all auditionees once we have an idea of audition numbers. As we had such an incredible turnout there is a chance we will need to continue auditions on the following Wednesday to ensure we get to see everyone and give you all a fair amount of time.

ADULT AUDITIONS

Large Singing Roles

Script and Song from the show (you'll find these below in the section for the character/s you wish to audition for)

PLUS

A musical theatre song of your choice.

It must reflect the character you are auditioning for.

What if I don’t want a named role?

If you made it to the Launch Night you will have heard that Lisa, our Director, doesn't like scene changes! As part of her vision, she would like the production to flow from scene to scene; therefore, most cast members will cover set changes with small character sketches.

It is also important to know that there are some big differences between the film and stage show in terms of the number of integral roles/characters. There are plenty of key male roles in the stage show as well as some potentially scene-stealing Nuns and Frau Schmidt - the stern housekeeper!

CHILDREN'S AUDITIONS

THERE WILL BE TWO TEAMS OF CHILDREN CAST FOR ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16.

Script and Song from the show

PLUS

A musical theatre song of your choice which will be sung as part of the children’s workshop.

These auditions will be in the form of a fun, as relaxed as possible, group workshop with acting and characterisation games, so we can help them perform to the best of their ability.

**Please note that if you are auditioning for Liesl and your actual age is over 16 you will be asked to attend an adult audition timeslot rather than the children's workshop. This will not affect your chances as decisions will be made on merit alongside playing age and comparative heights with the other children. The only non-negotiable is that we need the height of the actors playing the children to match the character age order.
